Mission Statement for First Presbyterian Church of Slayton
We believe God loved us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for us. The Son gave us two commands:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and strength" and "love one another".
Therefore, we aspire to worship, love, and serve God and to spread the Gospel. Our mission is to be a church that challenges its members to honor God by loving others, one person at a time.
He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind" and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself."
