Annual Hospice Rummage Sale The biggest rummage sale in southwest Minnesota is right around the corner. Thank you for supporting this event. Drop off dates: Sept. 12 - 15; Sale dates: Sept. 19 – 23.
The Goodwill Trailer will be in Slayton on September 20th thru September 27th. The trailer will be located at the Murray County Fair grounds, please see bulletin board for details.
The Presbyterian Women are hosting another crafting morning on Saturday, September 30. Please join us for fun and fellowship at 9:00 AM. We'll serve lunch at 11:30. The items we make will be sold at the annual bazaar or be used as gifts for Hospice. Just ask anyone who attended our last crafting morning - it's really fun.
St. Ann Church of Slayton will have their annual pit-grilled chicken dinner with homemade pie and all the trimmings on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Dinner will be served from 11:00 am-1:30 pm. Adults $9, Children $7 aged 10 & under. Carry-outs available in St. Ann School. Everyone is Welcome! Country store and Craft room in St. Ann School.
Save the date!!! The Annual Fall Bazaar will be held on Wednesday, October 4th. This gives you time to figure out what to bring for the bake sale and craft sale. Cathy or Shannon will be in touch with you in the next week or two to discuss work assignments and desserts/pies for the dinner. Thanks in advance for all you support.
The Murray County Food Shelf does accept donations of produce, so as gardens begin to mature, if you have an over abundance of produce and would like to donate it please contact Karen @ 836-8098 or Lila @ 836-8045. The Food Shelf is open on Wednesday afternoons.
Save your pop tabs, soup labels, and box tops for MCC Elementary!
We will be placing a receptacle in the coat room for you to drop off the items you have saved for MCC Elementary. We will make sure they are delivered to the school where their coordinator will complete all the paperwork for submission to the participating companies. With the credit they receive for these items, the school is able to purchase computers, playground equipment, and other things for their facilities.
